Our Resort and Hotel Experience in Orlando
Hilton Grand Vacations at Tuscany Village Resort
My recent vacation to Orlando Florida I had the opportunity to experience two resorts and one hotel. Our first two nights we spent at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tuscany and I must say I enjoyed being there. Our room was quite nice but we did not have much of a view. But for two of us it was all the space we needed. Our second night stay there we were moved to a newer building that we weren’t too excited about because everything was smaller than our original room. So, they moved us one final time and we liked the room but found that the lower floor rooms seem to have more wear and tear than the higher floor rooms. The washer and dryer was horrible. We put a few items washing and it sounded like we had a horse in the machine. Lol! Then every time you turned on the sink the hot water holder fell off. But besides this the customer service was excellent, the atmosphere was beautiful, the Joe’s cafe spot breakfast was delicious and the free Evian waters daily was a charm. We truly loved the resort but next time I will do better with planning in advance to have a room with a beautiful view on a higher floor. Westgate Vacation Villas Resort
We dreaded leaving Hilton Grand Vacations Tuscany resort area but I had purchased Westgate Vacation Villas Resort for the duration of our stay and when we arrived the customer service was spot on. They were informative to us and offered a lot of free incentives as BookVip customers. We had a two bedroom, two full baths with a loft, full kitchen, dining and family area with a porch to view the pool. It was really spacious and honestly a lot of space for just the two of us. The place was really clean and well-kept but could definitely use a renovation. My niece allergies flared up a bit with the dust and I am not sure if the pillows were as clean as they displayed because she got a rash on her face. Also, the water smelled like chlorine so I had us run it for about 5 to 10 minutes to tone it down but the price I paid for it I felt we got more for our bargain so these were small things. The cost to stay here 4 days and 3 nights with all I had was $300 for me and you know it came with a timeshare sale and a few more freebies. The presentation is only 90 minutes especially if this is not of interest to you. They will do their best to get you to buy but if they know you are truly just not interested they make you sign this disclosure to never get this price again and then send you off with your freebies. I will say for those that are truly on a budget and cannot afford more than $200-$300 for a family vacation spot this is for you. Just ensure your linens are fresh and not have been sitting on the bed for a while. Besides those few things I will say the facility was clean, well kept up, rooms were spacious and decent for a 3-night stay. You get to enjoy all the resorts activities and amenities at no cost and get some freebies as well to enjoy. They have lots to do, bike riding, 5 pools, water park area, miniature golfing, shopping and eating area, movies, workout facility and more. If you are interest please do check out www.BookVIP.com they will ensure you get a VIP experience.
Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport
It is a beautiful thing for me to see a smile on my nieces faces. As we arrived at the airport to our final overnight space my niece was truly excited filled with all smiles at the fact we were staying inside the airport. She got a kick out of being able to view the airport right from our room and floor. The room was quite small but the décor was renovated and we thought it was so cool to have the clock inside of the mirror of the bathroom. You would never know we were staying inside an airport; our room was totally sound free. We could not hear anything and that was a gem in itself. One experience I must admit too with Hyatt chain hotels is I am not keen of the customer service but Orlando you did it up. The manager reached out the night before to ensure we had all we needed for our stay the next day. All my request were fulfilled. The front desk was really cordial and I felt like I was at a Hilton chain. I will say some of the other Hyatt chains can take some lessons from them. Unfortunately, with having an early flight we did not get to experience all the hotel had to offer but just the little we did was fulfilling and I would definitely reserve a room there again. If you would like to have a different experience, great customer service, nice décor, good nights sleep and convivence by being right in the airport I would recommend this hotel.
